Job Description
The SIA PTLLS Teacher or trainer is responsible for providing an educational atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfil their SIA security course training potential. The SIA PTLLS Teacher or trainer is responsible for organizing and implementing an instructional program that will result in SIA training course students achieving academic success in accordance with SIA Security Industry Authority training course policies.
A training and development officer/manager manages the learning and professional development of an organization’s workforce.
The training element gives staff the understanding, practical skills and motivation to carry out particular work-related tasks. The training officer/manager will either deliver training sessions to participants or arrange for others to do so.
The development work relates to the ongoing, long-term improvement of employees’ skills so that they can fulfil their potential within their organisation.
Reporting to the SIA Event Security Manager/Director your role is key to the success of the event and your primary SIA PTLLS Teacher or trainer responsibilities are as follow:
Primary Responsibilities of a SIA PTLLS Teacher Trainer:
1. Implements instructional activities that contribute to a climate where SIA Security course students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences.
2. Identifies, selects, and modifies instructional SIA security course resources to meet the needs of the security SIA students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs.
3. Maintains effective and efficient record keeping procedures according to SIA Security Authority Industry procedures.
4. Provides a positive and friendly SIA training environment in which security training students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the SIA learning process.
5. The SIA PTLLS teacher or trainer will communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with students and other professionals on a regular basis.
6. Models professional and ethical SIA training course standards when dealing with students and community.
7. Ensures that student growth and achievement is continuous and appropriate for the SIA security training course program classification.
8. The successful SIA PTLLS security course trainer shall demonstrate gains in SIA Security course student performance.
9. Participates in SIA training and SIA Security presentations.
10. Meets professional SIA training course obligations through efficient work habits such as: meeting SIA training deadlines, honouring SIA schedules, coordinating.
11. Performs other SIA training course duties and responsibilities as assigned by their SIA training course supervisor.
12. All SIA training work responsibilities are subject to having performance goals established.
