SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard?

What is the difference between a Door supervisor and Security Guard?

Whilst a Security Guard can work at a variety of venues including retail, corporate and other sectors, their skills are limited when everyday situations such as physical arrests due to criminal behaviour arise or if the workplace involves alcohol or any situation requiring drug awareness.

A door supervisor qualification includes expert tuition in physical intervention, drug awareness and alcohol licensing that will protect both the employer and other employees legally.

For this reason, a door supervisor is much more in demand than ordinary Security Guards and holding this qualification will easily increase your employability by 200% and your monthly salary by 30%
