Any individual looking to qualify as a Handcuff Trainer and obtain a Level 3 Advanced Award Certificate. Successful completion of this course will entitle the qualified person to deliver our Level 2 (Handcuffing) award under License.

This course is suitable for individual expected to use restraint equipment (handcuffs) as part of their operational role.
The duration of our physical intervention instructor and handuff course is 2 days for Level 3 and 1 day for level 1. A Pre course assignment is available and it is advisable for candidate to commence with this assignment several days prior to the start of the course.
AAB Training offers the two qualifications, Advance Physical Intervention and Handcuff Instructor combined in one course, candidates will receive a pre course assignment to be completed before arrival.
The health and safety as well as insurance requirements associated with the delivery of level 3 physical intervention for trainers stipulates that a maximum student to trainer ratio is 1:12 this will ensure that instructors are able to pay careful attention to individual learning requirements and safety issues pertaining to the application of physical intervention.
